Beaches
You have to make the most of The Algarve's beautiful beaches during the stay and these are our favourites!
- Praia da Carvoeiro - the closest beach to Casa Da Luz, and very walkable. Small and friendly and perfect if you only want a couple of hours beach time
- Praia da Centianes - our favourite beach with super soft sand and a restaurant which serves local and international food as well as their 'giant' beers. Only five minutes drive from the villa. Make sure you check tide times as it can get a bit hairy!
- Praia da Marinha and Praia da Bengali are stunning beaches about 10-15 minutes drive from the villa. Bengali beach is the start point for many boat trips to see the infamous caves along this part of the coastline
- Praia Grande - Ferragudo is a family friendly, calm stretch of beach. Only ten minutes drive from the Villa and perfect for those with little people
Please note that most beaches charge for parasols and most do not have sun loungers so make sure you come prepared.
